The nose is very expressive with red berry fruit, quite openly knit with a quite heavy impression of toasted oak. On the palate good weight for this level, forward and energetic with the impression of a bigger wine. This is not a delicate and refined wine, it’s forward. A forward, drinkable and affordable entry level Bourgogne.

Serving suggestions:
Roast lamb, rib steak, game or duck.
Ethnic dishes such as couscous with meat or meat tajines also combine well with this wine, as do soft-centred cheeses such Époisses, Ami du Chambertin, or Livarot.
