Arnaud ENTE

Arnaud Ente, one of Meursault’s leading figures, runs a 4-hectare estate with his wife Marie-Odile and son Pierre. Established in 1992, it is now unanimously recognised for the excellence of its wines, sought after by enthusiasts and critics around the world. Arnaud Ente’s work is distinguished by a constant quest for purity and authenticity, guided by values of integrity and respect. Convinced of the importance of the vine’s natural resilience, he rejects practices that involve systematic replanting every 25 years, favouring instead careful management of each individual vine.
In viticulture, the estate follows certified organic methods, with experiments in biodynamics and a strong emphasis on soil and environmental preservation. The judicious use of inputs, meticulous care of the vines and the quest for a better carbon and human footprint reflect a deeply responsible approach. The winemaking philosophy is based on a clear principle: expressing the precision of the terroir without seeking opulence. Arnaud Ente’s wines are characterised by their balance, tension and crystalline purity, sometimes requiring several years of ageing to reveal their full complexity.
