Bernard-Bonin

The estate’s philosophy is based on a holistic vision: each element of the cycle – soil, plant, fruit, fermentation, ageing – carries a natural message that must be respected and passed on. In the cellar, vinification is deliberately minimalist. The grapes, harvested by hand, undergo a long ageing process of 15 to 18 months in oak barrels, without intensive stirring or the systematic addition of sulphur. The wines are refined on lees, without fining or filtration, accepting a loss of volume to preserve the integrity of the wine. Bottling follows the lunar cycles in order to preserve the energy and balance of the vintages as much as possible.

The estate’s wines, whether Meursault Premier Cru or Puligny-Montrachet, are distinguished by their purity, freshness and mineral depth. Their style is reminiscent of the greatest visionaries of Burgundy, seeking to express a living truth: tasting their wines is like entering a matrix, a universe where terroir and nature speak with one voice.
